This hands-on workshop aims to remove obstacles so anyone can create engaging, animated Explainer videos with a professional look and feel.
    Objective
At the workshop, you will create a PowToon Animated Explainer Video introducing a Subject you are passionate about OR a Promo Video to introduce a Product, Service or Company Event. Here’s the fun part... it will include your own voiceover!

In the process of creating your masterpieces, you will:
    1. Write a script and customise a PowToon template to craft your Story
    2. Learn an efficient PowToon workflow
    3. We’re throwing in a quick tutorial on Audacity, a free but amazingly versatile audio editing software to create your voiceover.
    Outline
You will feel like a new driver fumbling over the so many things you have to coordinate when you first learn to drive. But once you get the hang of it and see the results of your first video, it will open your imagination to all kinds of possibilities.

Of course, you could work on another project if you already have one in mind!

    1. It all starts with a Script. What’s Your Story/Message?
    2. Watch your Story Coach do a live demo with PowToon
    3. Then test drive your PowToon dashboard and discover like a child at play the gazillion Templates
    4. Write Your Catchy Titles, Taglines, and Text. Paint Pictures with Words
    5. Your Story Coach will show you how to get from basic to professional
    6. The power of your Voice. You will record your voiceover (no running away from this one!)
    7. You will edit your voiceover using Audacity and then add the finished voiceover to your PowToon video
    8. An expert already? You will learn tips on how to start your PowToon from scratch
    9. Your Coach will share her Treasure Trove of Free and Paid Resources (Icons, Images, Video) to keep you going
    10. Share It - Your Masterpieces!

    2. Though it is only 1 day, the trainer could customize our learning needs and we really appreciate it. Thank you. A very approachable and patient trainer, she would try to make it simplest to us as we are slow learners where it is concerned. Thank you for explaining & sharing different tips and feedback on our videos.

    3. Ms Angeline was really personable and flexible. She always spent time answering our questions & sharing personal stories that were relevant. She went beyond Powtoon to introduce other tools that we can use.
