    Essential Skills for Managers and Supervisors to Stand Out
    Managing a team is a different responsibility as compared to being an individual contributor which you did well previously. Making this transition can be daunting to many. Skills of a great individual contributor may not be the same as the skills required of an effective manager.

    Being an effective manager is both an art and science. The art of communications and influence, and the science in the tools to apply to achieve your goals.

    This workshop is designed to equip you with the essential management skills (both the art & the science) to help you confidently confront your management challenges and set you up for success as managers or supervisors

    • Knowing your current leadership traits
    • Understand the strengths and of each style in different context/situation

    Module 3: Master Key Tools to Better yourself
    • Introduction to Locus of Control & Influence
    • Identify your Sources of Influence
    • Being more intentional in meeting your goals (combining modules 1 to 3)

    Module 4: Master Key Tools to Develop your team
    • Understand the Communication model
    • Enhance understand through the usage of predicates in communicating ideas

    Particular of Nichole Yeo
    Nichole was the Associate Director in National University of Singapore, Office of Alumni Relations from 2011 to 2016. Leading a team of eight members, she brought along record breaking events turnout for three consecutive years. To meet the corporate mission of increasing the engagement level of alumni, she led in the organisation of events of different nature, from a family day of 6000 participants to the forum of 300. She was also involved in volunteer management and supervised the administration and compliance issues for both the local and overseas alumni chapters.

    Believing in the importance of acknowledging the strength of each team member, she coordinated and executed the project with 100 crew members. With an average of 3 events a week, keeping high team morale and being efficient is key.

    Besides her experience in public relations, volunteer management and project management, she had the opportunity to work in Bangkok and Shanghai. By leading foreign teams, she came to appreciate the differences in culture and the importance of body language in communication.

    Nichole is a Master Trainer in DISC and EIQ, Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) & Time-Line Therapy Practitioner, Certified Facilitator for Thomas Kilmann Conflict Mode and Friday Night @ER Systems Thinking Simulation Game.
