    Objective
    This one-day seminar is designed to give participants an overview understanding of import/export procedures, international trade terms, the uses of shipping documents, different aspect of cargo insurances, and letter of credit practices.     William Goh (PhD, MSc, BBus[Tpt], Diploma in Shpg Mgt, MCILT, MISM, ND), has more than 40 years of experiences in the areas of import/export, law of international trade, shipping, logistics, distribution, warehousing, inventory control, containerization, port operations, cargo insurance & claims, air & sea freight forwarding, ship chartering, trade documentation, international trade banking & financing, and supply chain management.

    As a businessman, Dr. Goh has done import/export and international trade businesses with over 80 countries all over the world. He has also travelled to more than 75 countries.

    An author of 8 shipping and logistics books and with more than 30 years of teaching and lecturing experiences, he has conducted hundreds of seminars and workshops in shipping, logistics, international trade, import/export operations, Banking and Letter of Credit, cargo insurance, and trade negotiation both in Singapore and overseas. As to this date, Dr. Goh has trained more than 35,000 participants.

    He has provided training to institutions such as Singapore Manufacturers’ Federation, Singapore Business Federation, various Polytechnics, People’s Association, Universities, Impact Seminars, YMCA, Statutory board, banks, and many others. He has also provided in-house training to more than 60 companies locally and in overseas.
