    Influencing People to Say YES! Willingly
    Below are three challenges people face when influencing others:

    1. Your project is behind schedule or not meeting sales target and you need your colleagues to take fast actions. However, they don’t report into you and you have no control over them.
    2. You tried influencing others and it backfired. Now you are fearful about how to influence others to get things done for you (willingly).
    3. You are certain that you have a better idea than your colleague, but you don’t know how to put it across to your team/boss in a way that doesn’t offend or create mistrust with others.

    Why learning how to Influence people to say YES! (willingly) is important for you and your organization performance?

    You may have brilliant ideas or solutions, but the acceptance of your idea for implementation can often pose challenges unless you can carve out a plan to ‘influence’ key stakeholders. And then implement it to get buy in from others, otherwise your ideas will remain as castles in the air.

    What can you expect?

    This one-day workshop is an interactive, hands-on, and enjoyable learning experience. Heavy on role play, we will cover both influencing competencies and having the right mindsets. We will impart you the CAST model to develop the four right mindsets you need in order to be successful in getting others to say YES! to you willingly. Followed by time tested influencing principles.

    1. Learn the differences between influencing and persuasion.
    2. Find out what people really want.
    3. Learn and apply the first principle in influencing others to say YES! Willingly.
    4. Discover the four influencing attitudes, CAST and learn how to apply them in role plays.

    5. Learn and apply the powerful direct questioning technique used by executive coaches (International coach federation)
    6. Apply and fine tune your influencing skills through reviewing video recording of role plays.

    Particular of Daniel Yeo
    Daniel Yeo has 26 years of extensive corporate experiences in the medical technology businesses in American and German multi-national companies in the Asia Pacific region. Trained as an engineer and he later moved into the areas of:

    a) Business development, channel management, sales performance enablement training.
    b) Working with middle and senior managers in Asia and Europe to develop their people skills, growth mindsets and competencies to accelerate and sustain their level of performance.

    He is currently the Director (Asia Pacific) of EQ Asia and founder of the Mindful Leadership™ Program at a consultancy company. Daniel works with individuals and leaders in Asia to develop their resilient/growth mindsets in order to adapt and thrive in this ever-changing world. Some of his clients included, Dyson, DELL, Telenor Group, Agilent Technologies, Singapore Ministry of Education, Keppel Land China, Geely Auto, School of Management, Fudan University (Shanghai).

    Daniel is active in International key note speaking, change consultancy and facilitating workshops in Asia and Germany. He has spoken at several high-level Human Resources summits and at the Fudan University, School of Management in China. Daniel is also a mentor at the Asia Institute of Mentoring.

    He is also deeply concern with the high level of stress teenagers are experiencing today. Therefore, he partners International Schools and Singapore Ministry of Education in helping children and teens to build their resilience muscles through the "Resilience for Teens Program".
