    Learning & embracing lean best practices in accounting & internal finance process such as Month End Close, Payroll, Budgeting & Forecasting etc is a proven way to achieve improved productivity, meet the deadlines effectively and enhance resource utilization in a company’s accounting (finance) department.

    The one-day workshop "Introduction to Lean Accounting" is designed to provide (1) interactive overview of applying lean tools for internal accounting process simplification (2) improving accounting & finance department productivity and (3) becoming effective business partnering to other departments and functions.     Speaker Profile
    Ramesh Rao holds Degree in Engineering and in Finance, an MBA in Supply Chain & Strategic Finance. He is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, certified Lean Master, certified Design Thinking facilitator and a certified supply chain practitioner. Ramesh last held the position as Global Finance Controller for a US MNC & successfully helped simplify internal finance process, consolidated the finance organization to improve efficiency & spearheaded companywide cost efficiency efforts. Previous to his position as Global finance controller position, Ramesh held Regional Operations lead position supervising 3 factories across Asia. Currently Ramesh runs a business consultancy based in Singapore specializing in productivity improvement, turnarounds & transformation.
